Why Photos Are Important in a Motor Vehicle Accident Case

Having photo proof of what occurred can be invaluable if you decide to pursue legal action against the other party involved in the accident. Taking clear, comprehensive photos will give you additional proof if there are any disputes over who was responsible for the crash or what the damages are.
How to Take Photos After a Motor Vehicle Accident
First and foremost, it is important to be safe when taking photos at an accident site. This means staying away from active traffic or anything else that could cause additional injury or damage. If possible, try to take photos from a distance instead of getting too close to the wreckage.
Once you have established a safe position for taking pictures, make sure to capture as much detail as possible. Also, make sure to use flash if needed so that all details are clearly visible in your pictures.
Document Damage to Your Car
It is important to take pictures of your car from multiple angles so that you have an accurate visual representation of the damage. Make sure to include close-up shots of any dents, scratches, or broken parts.
